The acidic seawater generated after desulfurization is not It is discharged directly into the sea, but is treated as qualified seawater through the water quality recovery system, and then discharged into the circulating water drainage open channel. “In the entire process of sulfur dioxide absorption and seawater recovery, there is no need to add any chemical reagents and produce any by-products. After the desulfurization, the seawater emission index is better than the national emission standard. At present, the seawater desulfurization rate of power plants is over 92%.”
The use of seawater for desulfurization eliminates the need for chemical reagents and produces no by-products. Another advantage is water saving.
